Mobile food and fruit venders gather around the perimeter of the park and do a brisk business especially on weekends. The northern end of the beach is a protected National Park land - Quiet, clean, no food stalls or restaurants except a few tiny stalls selling eggs and drinks. There are lots of longtail boats in the water, and local kids splashing around, and it's a popular area with locals.
